Future Hospitality Challenge is an innovation competition organized by Metropolia SmartLab.

🚨 Competitor registration closes on 20 January 2026.

The challenge invites teams, individuals and small businesses to design ideas that connect hospitality services, local businesses and sustainable technologies into one unified ecosystem.

No ICT or tourism expertise is required. The competition is open to everyone interested in future-oriented, sustainable hospitality solutions.

The winning team will receive tickets to Slush 2026 and have the possibility to collaborate with Metropolia SmartLab. Participants will also gain valuable feedback and networking opportunities during the competition.

Key dates:

• 22 January 2026: Competitor briefing (competitors only)
• 26 January 2026: Mentoring session (competitors only)
• 29 January 2026: Final Event (separate public event)
